With its new resonator design and torch options, the Mark II can cut at ultra high speeds and also process the widest variety of materials without setup. From thin gauge sheetmetal --up to 1" (25.4mm) mild steel plate, the Mark II can maintain consistent edge quality, kerf width and accuracy.
Increase your cutting performance with Mazak's exclusive pivot beam design.
The Mark II can exceed the cutting performance of machines with costly higher wattage resonators because, unlike most lasers, it has a constant-length, pivot beam delivery system which minimizes beam divergence. Unique to Mazak's STX line, this system maximizes beam intensity at the focal (cutting) point and lets the laser cut consistently at any spot on the sheet.
Maintenance is easy due to Mazak's anti-vibration construction.
Mazak's legendary rigid Meehanite cast frame and vibration-dampening technology in the high-gain servo ball-screw drive keep vibration problems to a minimum. The Mark II design also eliminates a number of mirrors. These features allow Mark II machines to maintain superior consistency and ± .0004"/20" positioning accuracy and ± .0002" repeatability without frequent manual tweaks or adjustments.

Increase your productivity with the widest range of material handling options in the industry.
The STX Mark II is available with a wide range of material handling equipment: • Laser CMS • Laser FMS • Load/Unload Cell • Pallet Shuttle • Pallet Shuttle with Loader.
Accelerate your processing speeds with the new Mark II HS high speed laser.
The Mark II-HS high speed laser cutting system includes engineering modifications designed to significantly increase processing speeds in sheetmetal gauges. In addition, it minimizes downtime for manual adjustments and maintains tight dimensional accuracy and consistent cut quality.
The 4000w Mark II-HS fabricates at accelerated speeds without sacrificing the flexibility needed for maximum throughput in most fabricating operations. Changing from one material or thickness to another is automatic. No time-consuming torch changes or manual adjustments are required to go from processing the thinnest sheetmetal through .750" plate. This feature dramatically reduces idle time , the most significant factor in reduced processing times. Add any of the material handling equipment above to increase productivity further.
